About Jill

Sometimes life transitions, stressors, trauma, or grief can feel overwhelming. No matter how hard you may be trying to work things out on your own, it may feel like you are not gaining ground. Change and healing don't happen in isolation, and we all need help at some point. Having a caring professional walk with you through challenging times can be incredibly helpful. I use research-supported approaches to transform painful emotions, physical sensations, and limiting beliefs resulting from painful experiences into more adaptive living. I am a trained EMDR therapist. Additionally, I have completed Gottman Method Level 1 clinical training for couples therapy. I have 15+ years of experience working with individuals and groups to establish goals and create change in personal and professional settings. Counseling is a second career for me and the fulfillment of a long-term goal. My background is in health and wellness, and I have experience working with clients through a variety of life transitions. Additionally, I recognize that there is more to creating change than just "gutting it out." I would welcome the opportunity to work with you.
