Hello, I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2012. I have my Masters in Social Work from Florida State University. I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional through Evergreen Certifications. I have experience treating clients with Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Agoraphobia, Illness-Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobia, Post-Partum Depression/Anxiety/OCD, and Major Depressive Disorder. My clients would describe me as positive and bubbly. My philosophy is to meet my clients where they are at. I utilize a strengths-based perspective and try to bring out the positive qualities in my clients. I understand that it can be difficult to begin counseling, and also it is often difficult to ask for help. I believe that by recognizing you are going through a difficult time in life and reaching out for help by a professional counselor, you have already taken a big first step in improving your situation. I like to work collaboratively with my clients, and ask for their input/opinions when discussing our treatment plan and homework assignments. I offer non-judgmental counseling and will assist you in a caring and compassionate manner. Personally, I am a wife and a mother of four children. I have worked part-time providing counseling for the last ten years, while being at home to raise my kids.
